John and his Cardboard Friends

Përshkrimi

A magical sick day full of imagination and talking cardboard friends This is a fun and clever story for young readers eager for knowledge. What happens when you wake up one morning with cheeks as red as sun-baked tomatoes? Fever is never a good thing. Mothers start to worry and begin giving orders as if they were ship captains: strict bed rest, hot tea, some bitter medicine, and finally the ultimate verdict: no kindergarten today! Of course, viruses are annoying, but if you think about it, they also bring some unexpected good things. You can stay home in your cozy room, sleep as much as you want, and even make brand new friends—just like John, the lovely character in the book you hold in your hands. His new friends are made of cardboard, and yet, magically, they can talk and play just like humans. Join John on his imaginative journey that proves a sick day at home doesn’t have to be boring at all when you have a brilliant imagination.
