Yves Coueslant, një nga themeluesit e Diptyque, nuk e ka harruar kurrë këtë aromë të drejtuar nga druri i sandalit që nga fëmijëria e tij. Në pyjet e shenjta të fëmijërisë së tij në Vietnam, elefantët mbanin trungje druri sandali në tempuj për t'u djegur. Një aromë prej kadifeje, e freskuar nga gjallëria e selvisë.
