Description
Prof. Dr. Mark Tirta, etnolog, akademik i Associuar (2008), lindur në Orosh të Mirditës, më 21 maj 1935, kryen studimet në Universitetin e Shkodrës e të Tiranës për histori-gjuhësi, më 1957- 1961. Në vitet 1955-1957 dhe 1959-1967 ka qenë arsimtar në Mirditë: më tepër drejtor shkolle a inspektor arsimi (për rrethin e Mirditës). Nga viti 1961 e në vazhdim, krahas punës në arsim, merret dukshëm me kërkime në fushë të etnokulturës, bën eksplorime të shumta në Mirditë e rrethet fqinje të saj, si: mbledhje materiali etnografik e folklorik, zbulon e përshkruan qendra të reja arkeologjike të Arbrit Mesjetar, po kështu dhe kulturë ilire e romake, ngriti një muze në Rrëshen (1967), mbledh toponime, antroponime, fjalë të rralla.
