JOHN AND HIS CARDBOARD FRIENDS

Description

This is a fun and clever story for young readers eager for knowledge. What happens when you wake up one morning with cheeks as red as sun-baked tomatoes? Fever is not a good thing. Mothers worry and start giving orders as if they were ship captains: bed rest, tea, some bitter medicine and finally: no kindergarten today! Of course, viruses are annoying, but if you think about it, they also bring some good things. You can stay home, sleep as much as you want and even make new friends, just like John, the character in the book you have in your hand. The new friends are made of cardboard and yet they can talk like humans.
